Affiliate Disclosure

Last Updated: July 2026

In compliance with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines, this page outlines the affiliate relationships and economic models powering BiohackTub (https://biohacktub.com). Our goal is to maintain absolute transparency with our readers regarding how we monetize our deep-dive reviews and engineering analyses.

1. What Is an Affiliate Link?

Many of the product links on BiohackTub are affiliate links. This means that if you click on a link and purchase a product or service from the merchant within a specific tracking window, BiohackTub receives a small referral commission.

Crucial Point for Our Readers: This commission comes at zero absolute extra cost to you. The price of the cold plunge, infrared sauna, or biohacking device remains exactly the same whether you use our link or navigate to the merchant’s site independently. In many cases, our direct relationships with manufacturers allow us to provide exclusive discount codes that actually lower your upfront cost.

2. Amazon Associates Program Disclosure

BiohackTub is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases made through our links.

3. Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Wellness Networks

Because the high-ticket biohacking market extends far beyond Amazon, BiohackTub partners directly with elite, medical-grade, and luxury recovery brands (including premium cold plunge manufacturers, traditional Finnish sauna builders, and red-light therapy engineers). These private affiliate networks operate on the same referral model, ensuring our work remains sustainable.

4. Does This Influence Our Editorial Reviews?

Absolutely not. Our lead reviewer, Barrett Cross, operates under a strict, data-driven framework where material metrics override marketing fluff. We evaluate products based on objective specifications: insulation efficiency, compressor horsepower (HP), electrical requirements, and wood grading.

  • We do not accept paid sponsorships to artificially inflate a product’s rating.
  • We do not hide structural engineering flaws, high energy draw, or noise levels just to chase a commission.
  • If a product fails our internal benchmarks or receives consistent long-term negative feedback on crowdsourced forums (like r/coldplunge or r/sauna), we will explicitly advise our readers to avoid it.

Our loyalty belongs entirely to our readers. If we recommend a faulty $5,000 cold plunge just for a commission, we lose your trust—which is our most valuable asset.

5. Why Do We Use This Model?

The premium home recovery market requires intensive, long-term research and deep technical understanding. The commissions we earn through affiliate links fund our independent testing operations, digital infrastructure, and data verification protocols. This allows us to deliver elite, clean content entirely free of intrusive banner ads and corporate paywalls.
